2006-12-31 New Year's Eve

Spending time on the shore demands a lot of walking around... what else is there to do at the beach in winter-time? Fortunately, we had some experienced geo scientists with us that could tell us some interesting things about the stones lying around.

My dear Monika, geo-scientist-soon-to-be-PhD, explaning the composition of granite to us ignorants... glimmer, quartz, and feldspar. Right? Correct me if I'm wrong.


We are not the only ones on the beach. An amazing flock of swans was enjoying the winter sun at the sea.


Later this evening we played Tabu... girls against boys. Guess who won? Guess who's better in communication and interpretation. GO GIRLS.


This is how nearly-thirty-year-olds spend their New-Year's-Eve. Drowsing on the couch. No party. Lame :)
