2007-06-07 Mama's Birthday

Now I'm only lagging two months behind..Let's skip to my mum's birthday. I'm not always a cake genius, you know, but at least I'm creative. I intented to make a nice little "Gugelhupf" that ended up in a "Tiramisú". Guess why?

My mum's birthday table always resembles a flower shop, therefore we never give her flowers on her birthday. Instead, we bought her a new wall closet for the bathroom. As kids like the package better than the contents, Sibi started playing with the box:

Some of the guests I barely know. They brought... flowers!

The next day, the whole family went for a walk to the Tiergarten. This sounds easier than it was... The day was really hot and the kids where really annoyed by this. But as soon as we had reached the shadows in the park, we had a nice picnic.
